Upcoming Food Safety Certification Course Offerings
Format: Each Certification Course will consist of two morning Sessions, spaced one week apart, which will meet from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon each day.
- Session #1 will provide instruction in food safety principles based on the course book, ServSafeŽ Essentials, 5th Ed., Students will receive their course books during Session #1 (or earlier, if requested) for more detailed self-study at home in preparation for the certification exam they will take during Session #2, one week later.
- Session #2 will consist of a review period, ample opportunity for Questions & Answers, and the administration of the ServSafeŽ Food Protection Manager exam. ServSafeŽ re-certification exams will also be offered during Session #2 to those requesting it at least three weeks in advance. This certification is nationally recognized and meets the requirements of the 2005 Food Code.
