How does the OSHA standard affect your workplace?
The OSHA Standard, 29CRF Part 1910-1030 "...applies to all occupational exposures to blood
or other potentially hazardous materials." Its purpose is to "reduce occupational
exposure to Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and other
bloodborne pathogens" that employees may encounter in their workplace.
Employee Training and Exposure Control Plan:
- $100 per training class with Exposure Control Plan
- Hepatitis B Vaccination: $35 per dose. Series of 3 doses required.
