VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
CMDHD Volunteer Program allows for community members to give their time and talents to the community while developing professional skill, career network, and invaluable friendships.  Volunteers are an integral part of CMDHD.  The skills and talent of our volunteer staff increases the overall effectiveness of the agency and promotes community involvement.

CMDHD requires a certain level of commitment from volunteers in the program.  This is beneficial to the volunteers, as it gives them the opportunity to gain experience and develop professional skills and networks that would otherwise be difficult to guarantee.  Commitment is essential to the agency as well because it allows us to provide quality opportunities to our volunteers and maintain a high level of service to our community.  CMDHD offices are normally open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  If any volunteer work is to be done after hours, volunteers will be notified in advance.

CMDHD offers Volunteer opportunities in a variety of settings in all six counties.
