| Central Health Plan |
The Central Health Plan is a community sponsored healthcare program. It is not insurance, but the plan
does cover the cost of some outpatient health services such as office visits, lab and x-ray and some
medications with small co-pays. Eligibility is based on residency and income. Central Health Plan has
become a good alternative to low cost medical care. Adults aged 19 and over can complete a simple
application and if they meet residency and income requirements can obtain medical care for very low
fees. Office visits, some lab and x-rays and some prescription drugs are covered by this health
plan.
