The Central Michigan District Board of Health will be holding a public hearing during its regularly scheduled Board of Health Meeting on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.  The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. at our Clare County Branch Office located at 815 N Clare Ave., Harrison, MI 48625.  The purpose of the hearing is to amend the Sanitary Code to require inspections of private on-site water supply and sewage disposal systems in Isabella County at the time of property transfers, and when necessary require the repair or upgrading of those systems.  The effective date of the amended Sanitary Code would be 45 days after approval by the Boards of Commissioners for Arenac, Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Osceola, and Roscommon Counties.
