Frozen Strawberry Recall
The Michigan Department and Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) continue to work cooperatively on the nationwide frozen strawberry recall. The frozen strawberries that were recalled were only distributed to a limited number of food service facilities and were not available in grocery stores.
Central Michigan District Health Department, in cooperation with MDARD, has contacted all facilities that may have received the recalled product to verify that the recalled frozen strawberry product is no longer being served. We are working to provide proper management of any potentially exposed individuals. Not all frozen strawberry products are a part of this recall.
